The Adoption Option started as a charitable trust in 2005. Following the Christchurch earthquakes all our volunteers were badly effected and were unable to continue in their roles. We have therefore decided to continue in a new form. We are no longer a charitable trust, we are now a support group. We have handed over the distribution of our resources to another charitable organisation who manage an Adoption Option bank account on our behalf and therefore tax can still be claimed back on any donations.
The materials the Adoption Option has produced have been endorsed by a number of organisations. Two examples can be seen by clicking on the links for Family Life Pregnancy Centre and Pregnancy Counselling Services.
